Mid and South Essex Health & Care Academy are excited to announce that we are partnering with the fantastic Medical Mavericks during February half term to offer the opportunity for young people who live in Mid and South Essex and who are in years 10-13, the chance to get hands on and explore careers in healthcare at a free Skills Lab session!
Sessions are available on Friday 21st February 2025 and Saturday 22nd February 2025 at our training suite at Brentwood Community Hospital, CM15 8DR and young people can choose either a morning session (9am-12pm) or an afternoon session (1pm-4pm) to attend.
The sessions will be packed with exciting activities delivered by the Medical Mavericks team and will allow students considering a future in healthcare to explore careers in the NHS whilst getting the opportunity to practice skills taking basic medical observations and have a go with other healthcare equipment!
