The Mental Health Capacity Assessment training is ONLY available for Qualified Staff/Practitioners.
Course Description
This in-person course is held at Brentwood Community Hospital, Crescent Drive, Shenfield, Brentwood, Essex, CM15 8DR. Modules for this in person course include:
- Who is PERMITTED to conduct and MCA assessment.
- How MCA assessments connect with the upcoming LPS Law
- Legal requirements indicating why the assessment is needed.
- Additional rights the Patient under MCA will have .
- How to complete an MCA Assessment
